Introduction

Overview

Cambridge Advisors Network (CAN) is a network of experienced entrepreneurs, educators, executives and consultants (both local and from abroad) with deep interest in helping Pakistani companies.  CAN is able to reach out and bring experts to address specific issues and needs of its Pakistani clients.

Our Vision is to be a world class Business Advisory and Training organization and our Mission is to work for the economic uplift of people through the promotion of entrepreneurship, business development & growth and enterprise building.

CAN provides Consultancy and Training Services to Students, Entrepreneurs, Early Stage Companies and Established Companies. It would also work with Entrepreneurial Support Services providers to build and sustain the Entrepreneurial Eco-System in Pakistan.

It consists of a Band of Foreign & Local Experts that would Provide Training and Consultancy Services. Most Consultants and Trainers would be available on call basis and Project Teams for consultancy would be formed based on project needs. However, Some Consultants would be available on full time basis and there would be full time Company Staff to do Project Acquisition, Project Management, Accounting, etc. The areas that CAN would address includes:  Strategy & Planning, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Policy Issues, etc.

Core consultants and champions of CAN consist of high profile experts of international and local repute who have done a large number of consultancy projects internationally and locally. These include such luminaries as Mr. Ken Morse, MD MIT Entrepreneurship Center; Mr. Bill Aulet, Senior Lecturer at MIT Entrepreneurship Center; Mr. Farrokh Captain, Chairman Captain Industries, and Chairman MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan (MITEFP); Mr. Imran Sayeed, vp Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) practice for Keane; Dr. Zahir Ali Syed, CEO of CAN and Co-Chair MITEFP, Mr. Azhar Rizvi, Vice Chair MITEFP, Mr. Naeem Zafar, faculty member Haas Business School, UC Berkeley and founding partner of Concordia Ventures, Mr. Imran Qidwai, Founder & President  Zaviah, etc

CAN along with Tech Angels Network (TAN) and MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan (MITEFP) would work towards building and sustaining the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Pakistan. The following diagram gives an overview of how the three organizations would work in this direction.
